Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe

I stayed at Gravity Haus Truckee for 5 nights in February 2026. This was my second stay at this property, and. I was travelling alone on both visits. During my first visit, I injured my knee while skiing, and although I was able to walk it was painful. I am so grateful to Grayson who helped me check out of my room and load my car. His kindness and assistance weren't expected but will never be forgotten and for this reason, I will always stay at Gravity Haus for any future visits to Truckee. During my most recent visit, the hospitality and level of service once again went above and beyond my expectations. The property is clean, quiet, and centrally located to multiple activities and resorts.

My husband and I had a fabulous staycation at Gravity Haus. From out first interaction with Ian who put us in his favorite room to Scott to all the room staff, the service and facilities were impecable! Bailey and the restaurant team at Stella provided us with a delicious dinner. The accommodations were perfect for us and our two golden retrievers. Thank you all! We will definitely be back!

Our weekend at this inn was extraordinary. The room was large, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Safety felt thorough, allowing us to relax completely. Meals and drinks were amazing, with fresh ingredients and creative presentation. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, assisting with planning a surprise celebration. Noteworthy touches like evening lights, cozy nooks, and charming decor made the stay feel luxurious. The serene setting allowed us to unwind while enjoying a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every aspect of our stay, from the service to the accommodations, was excellent. We’ll definitely return for another memorable visit.

Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe is in a beautiful location, and the entire property is kept immaculate — truly a pleasure to walk into. When we arrived, Cody at the front desk greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant service was excellent as well. Our waiter, Jason, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food cooked by German was outstanding. We really enjoyed our meal. If there’s one small area for improvement, it would be for Stephen at the front desk to show a bit more friendliness and acknowledgment toward guests. A simple greeting or smile goes a long way. Aside from that, everything was excellent. Thank you very much to the team for making our stay enjoyable!

Great hotel, right in Truckee, close to Lake Tahoe and great hiking trails. Love that they use non-scented products for the rooms, towels, linens and everything feels very natural. Really spacious modern clean rooms with outdoor patio and appreciated having a proper desk and sofa. It has a warm and welcoming lodge feel and I appreciated the free coffee, comfy lounge area, really awesome large co-working space, restaurant with delicious food right on property. Loved having fitness center with treadmill and weights, sauna and hot tub. Staff were all helpful and friendly and down to earth. Great value for money. I could hear the traffic from the main road from my room which is really my only minor complaint. That said, I will definitely be back, thank you!

Gravity Haus is such a great find! The hotel is super nice, modern, and beautifully updated while still feeling cozy and quiet. The staff is truly welcoming and helpful from the moment you arrive—they really make you feel at home. The on-site restaurant is both delicious and stunning, definitely worth dining at during your stay. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from plenty of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Overall good experience. Rooms were spacious. No closet but provide coat hooks. Power went out once from electric kettle and again for no reason. Had to walk out to front desk 2x since no one picked up the phone and ask them to flip the breaker. Staff were friendly overall but they loose points for electrical and no one to pick up the phone when the power went out. No elevator to the room we stayed in so travel light. Breakfast was affordable and convenient.

This place came recommended by a doctor I travel to see in the area. Very clean, modern rooms. We really liked the overall feel of the property. Salted caramels on check in, loose tea bags and coffee bags in the room, local products to buy in the room if desired, and mindfulness towards sustainability were really appreciated. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Appreciated That they had an electric kettle, microwave, mini fridge, small sink, and basic reusable dishes in the room we selected . We were traveling with two small kids and booked their largest room. The futon isn't the most comfortable bed but it was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The check-in lobby area was also super comfortable and welcoming- a good place to work on your laptop or play cards. Location is close to the grocery store and quick drive to downtown so super convenient. Only minor suggestion would be to try to not run the vacuums before 9:00 a.m.. we are early risers so it didn't bother us, but I was surprised to hear the vacuum turn on in our hallway before 9 am And unfortunately sound travels a bit so if I had been trying to sleep in I might have been a little frustrated but this was very minor for us. All in all we will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
